Acts Ministries International, We are actively involved in community outreach work within the London Borough of Lambeth.

Feeding the Vulnerable – The Resource Centre in Lambeth
We supply freshly made hot lunches to the service users of a local day Centre for men and women experiencing mental challenges, on a fortnightly basis at the local Centre.  The Centre provides the service users and staff enjoy our visits. This outreach work started in December 2011 and has since developed. We have developed an interaction with them.

The Fanon Day Centre for African Caribbean adults with mental health challenges in 107 Railton Road, London SE24 0LR. They offer advice on a range of issues, including housing and welfare rights. Tenancy sustainment. Mixed group and women’s project.  Provide activities, trips, and access to counseling. Outreach, including home and hospital visits. Support for carers and family members. Volunteering and job training opportunities.

Target group
African Caribbean men and women aged 18-65 with mental health problems.
