Matthew 19: 23-26  Then said Jesus unto His Disciples, verily I say unto you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
V.24 And again I say unto you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.
V.25 When His Disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, who then can be saved?
V.26 But Jesus beheld them and said unto them with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
We know from experience that on our own at times forgiveness is impossible, on our own at times giving sacrificially is impossible. When I talk about giving it is not just money, it involve our time, going out of our way to meet some one else’s need.
And the Disciples ask the right question…who can be saved?  Jesus says with men, on your own, it is impossible.
He says, you are not alone, I am with you don’t be afraid and don’t worry.  Don’t worry about tomorrow, don’t worry about where your going to sleep, don’t worry about what others do to you, you just give it all to God and He will provide the way.  Don’t worry if people take advantage of you, don’t hold a grudge.
How is that possible?
It is impossible from the world’s perspective.  Impossible that God came to earth in the form of Jesus.  Impossible that Jesus would die on the cross for our sin.
Some people have impossibilities they are facing.  From our human perspectives and abilities we say impossible, and God says to you and me you are wrong.  Nothing is impossible with Jesus.  All things are possible, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
Maybe you have a marriage on the rock, maybe you have a family situation that is without solution, maybe you have an unhealthy addiction, maybe you have an anger issue, maybe you are afraid to step out in Faith.
Jesus said to the Disciples, and says to you and me, on your own, you are right, there are somethings that are impossible.  You should know, The Lord knows where you are at.
Do you have an impossibility in your life?
Know that our God is the God of The possible.  He is the God of Hope.   Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
